Q:
What should I wear when I go on tour at the Grand Canyon?

Hi Hanna:

Please dress casually and comfortably. We highly recommend wearing comfortable shoes, which are
appropriate for walking. Although the tours are not strenuous, not all walkways are paved. Please avoid
wearing shoes that have slick bottoms, such as dress shoes. Tennis shoes, hiking boots, or sports type
footwear is best.

Please keep in mind that the South Rim is approximately 20 degrees cooler than Las Vegas; whereas, the
West Rim is slightly warmer than Las Vegas.

Summer months:

We recommend wearing a hat and/or sunglasses, as it tends to be hot and bright in the desert sun.

Winter months:

We recommend bringing a jacket or rain poncho. Many customers also bring gloves or a scarf when
during the colder months.

Hi Annie:

Temperatures vary by season and have been changing rapidly in recent years.

However, below are the general temperatures for both the Grand Canyon National park (South Rim) and
the Grand Canyon West Rim based on season:

Grand Canyon National Park- South Rim

The temperature varies in the Summer between 68-100 degrees Fahrenheit (20-38 degrees Celsius) and
in the Winter it is between 50-59 degrees Fahrenheit (10-15 degrees Celsius).

Grand Canyon West Rim:

The temperature varies in the Summer between 95-107.6 degrees Fahrenheit (35-42 degrees Celsius)
and in the Winter it is between 55-59 degrees Fahrenheit (13-15 degrees Celsius).

***The difference in the range of temperature varies depending on how close you are to the rim. As you
get closer to the inner gorge of the Grand Canyon, the temperature will begin to drop.

Q:
What do I need to bring with me while on tour?

Hi Sonia:

All passengers must have a government issued valid photo identification card, such as a state driver’s
license, or a passport for check-in service at the airport.

We highly recommend all passengers bring or purchase a bottle of water to bring with them while on
tour. Most people that are not used to the desert region will need additional water, as the weather is
drier than most are used to.

Q:
Am I able to fly to the Grand Canyon without joining one of your tours?
QnA

Hi Charles:

Most people that visit the Grand Canyon fly into either McCarren airport in Las Vegas or to the Phoenix
Sky Harbor Airport. However, both of these airports are more than 200 miles away from the Grand
Canyon.

There is a Grand Canyon National Park airport; however, it is usually utilized only by tour companies that
provide Grand Canyon air tours (such as ours) or by private aircraft.

The only way to fly to this airport is to join a tour similar to the ones we offer or purchase a private flight
to the Grand Canyon National Park airport.

Q:
Regarding the Premium Outlets, is there a tour that will lead us there or do we have to go there by ourself? Are there any directions as to how we can get to the North outlets in Las Vegas? Thanks

Hi Bob:

The stop at the outlets on the way to Las Vegas is included in the cost of the tour.

However, if you want additional time at the outlets, you will need to arrange your own transportation to and from the outlets.

There are many services available for transportation from the Las Vegas strip to the surrounding outlets that customers can use during their stay.

We also offer the following shuttle service to the outlets near LV:

Q:
Are these tours appropriate for children and/or seniors?
QnA
View answers (1)
A:
| 2012-12-30 20:08:56

Hi Oscar:

Yes, this tour is family-oriented and appropriate for most ages. In general, this tour is not strenuous.
Some tours will involve 3 flights of stairs on and off the helicopter; however, that is as strenuous as this
tour gets. However, it varies from person to person and each child’s attention span will differ.

For older customers, please make sure you are in good health before flying. If you have any health
problems we should be aware of, please leave a note in the comments section of your online
reservation so we can make sure your tour guide is aware of your situation.

Parents know their children better than anyone and whether they will be able to enjoy the tour or
if they will become easily distracted. Please keep that in mind when deciding whether this tour is
appropriate for your child.

Does the tour offer pickup service in Henderson or Boulder City?

Hi Lilly:

We do not currently offer pickup service in either area for this tour. At this time, the closest pickup
location will be the Scenic Airlines Terminal at the McCarren airport. If you are on the South end o fthe
strip, you can either have pickup service at the Mandalay Bay or at the airport directly, as they are
similar in distance.

Thank you for your inquiry.
